# October 12, 2026

### October 12, 2026

Every workspace member can now check connector status from a new Connectors tab, answers fade in smoothly as they stream, and charts are cleaner. This release also fixes large dashboards that stopped refreshing, filter choices that fell out of date, conversations that switched model on their own, and several hard-to-read elements in dark mode.

#### New

**Connectors tab in Data**

The Data section now has a Connectors tab, listed right below Overview and open to every member of the workspace.

It shows the sync status of every table your connectors send to the workspace, with filters and a detail view for each one.

More rows load as you scroll, and rows move smoothly into place when their status changes.

The connector status light in the footer now takes you straight to this tab.

#### Improved

**Connector alerts tell slow from stopped**

A connector that is still running but has passed a threshold, such as a slow sync or a table over its size limit, now shows as a warning in yellow rather than an outage in red.

Red now means a connector has not run recently.

Each connector's alerts are listed most serious first.

**Answers appear smoothly as they stream**

New text in a reply now fades in as it arrives, and formulas fade in once when they appear.

Finished replies display without any animation. Motion is turned off if your device is set to reduce motion.

**Cleaner charts**

Line charts no longer draw a dot at every data point. The point under your cursor is still highlighted.

The Save as image button has been removed from charts.

In dark mode, gridlines are fainter, and charts with two axes draw a single set of gridlines instead of two overlapping sets.

In dark mode, charts with several series keep every series clearly visible, rather than letting some fade into the background.

**Calculators can run more queries**

Calculators, and code the assistant runs during an analysis, can now make up to 10 data queries in a single run, up from 5.

**Calculators are out of Beta**

Calculators are no longer marked as Beta.

**Suggested questions**

Suggested follow up questions now sit on their own card beneath a reply, on a single line each with aligned arrows, rather than running together with the answer above them.

#### Fixed

**Large dashboards could stop refreshing**

Previously, a dashboard that had grown very large could fail every refresh, so its filters and the refresh button appeared to hang.

Dashboards are now stored in a way that lets them grow much larger, and large dashboards refresh normally.

**Dashboards too large to save showed only an error**

Previously, a dashboard that had grown past the maximum size we can store failed to save with a generic server error, which gave no reason and invited you to retry something that could never succeed.

The size limit now applies to each figure rather than to the whole dashboard. If a single figure is too large to store, saving, publishing, renaming, or cloning the dashboard now tells you that is the reason.

**Filter choices did not pick up new values**

Previously, the choices in a dashboard filter were fixed when the filter was created. Values that appeared in your data later never showed up, and a value that was corrected in your data could go on matching nothing.

Filter choices now update every time the dashboard refreshes.

**Conversations could change model on their own**

Previously, the model picker was remembered for your whole browser rather than for each conversation. Choosing a model in one conversation changed the model used by every other conversation you had open, including in other tabs, so a reply could arrive from a model you had not chosen for that thread.

Each conversation now keeps the model it was set to. The picker still sets the default for new conversations.

A conversation that predates this and has no model recorded now uses the model its last reply came from, rather than falling back to whatever was last picked.

**Long multi step requests could stall or end with nothing**

Previously, a request that needed many steps to complete could reach an internal limit on how many steps one reply may take, and then fail in one of two ways. The reply could sit showing a timer that never finished, or it could end having done the work but shown you no answer at all.

Requests that reach the limit now always finish, and close with a summary of what was done and what is left.

**Calculator dialog would not reopen**

Previously, canceling out of a calculator dialog meant it could not be opened again without reloading the page.

It now reopens as expected.

**Sidebar forgot whether it was hidden**

Previously, hiding the sidebar did not survive a page reload, so it reappeared every time.

It now stays hidden or shown the way you left it.

**Selected dashboard tab was hard to pick out in dark mode**

Previously, in dark mode, the selected dashboard tab could look darker than the tabs around it, depending on your workspace's colors.

The selected tab is now the brightest one.

**Red text was hard to read in dark mode**

Previously, red text in dark mode, such as highlighted values on dashboard cards and error messages, was dark enough to blend into the background.

Dark mode now uses the same red as light mode.

**Warning badges were hard to read in dark mode**

Previously, warning badges in dark mode showed white text on bright yellow.

They now use dark text in dark mode.

**Switched-on toggles lost their handle in dark mode**

Previously, in dark mode, the handle on a switched-on toggle disappeared.

It is visible again.
