# September 7, 2026

This release adds advanced statistical and predictive analysis, brings data tables to dashboards, and lets you trace and question the number behind any figure. Fable 5.1 is also now available in the model picker.

#### New

**Advanced analysis**

The assistant can now write and run its own Python to answer questions that SQL alone cannot reach.

* Forecast a trend forward, detect anomalies and outliers, cluster customers or products into segments, fit regressions, test correlations, and train and compare predictive models.
* Analysis uses the established data science toolkit, including NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM, so answers come from proven methods rather than approximations.
* Specific progress notes appear while the analysis runs, in place of a blank spinner.
* Open any analysis to read the exact code that produced your answer.
* Results return either as a summary of the key figures or as a full table you can sort, browse, and download like any other.
* Each analysis runs in an isolated environment with no network access and can reach only the data in your dataverse.

**Dashboard tables**

You can now place a data table on a dashboard as its own card.

* Tables scroll continuously rather than page by page, so you can move through thousands of rows without waiting for the full set to load.
* Sort by any column, or filter within a column to find what you are after.
* Display numbers as currency or percentages, and hide columns you do not need.
* Show an in-cell bar on numeric columns to make the relative size of each value obvious at a glance.
* Download any table as an Excel workbook or a Parquet file.
* Dashboards published to a collection carry their own copy of the table data, so readers always see the same rows you published.

**Dig into any figure**

Hover over any figure on a dashboard, including a KPI value, a chart, or a table, to see what produced it.

* View the query behind the figure, the value it is showing, the filters in effect, and any caveats that apply.
* Dig in from there to open a conversation already carrying that figure's full context, with the assistant checking the number against the underlying data and explaining what stands out.
* Digging in is available to anyone with access to the underlying data. Readers of a published report can still see the query details behind each figure.

**Fable 5.1**

Fable 5.1 is now available in the model picker.

* Fable 5.1 is the successor to Fable 5, with deeper long-horizon reasoning over a one-million-token context.
* Fable 5 remains available as the previous generation, so any default you have already set is unchanged.

#### Improved

**Sorting and filtering on extracted tables**

* Extracted tables now support sorting and per-column filtering directly in the results view.
* Narrowing down a large result no longer means going back and asking a new question.

#### Fixed

**Responses that never finished**

* Previously, if the service restarted while the assistant was mid-answer, the response could sit showing a thinking indicator indefinitely, and reloading the page did not clear it.
* Interrupted responses now end with a clear error you can retry.

**Broken link previews**

* Previously, sharing a Beye link in Slack, Teams, or on social media could produce a missing or broken preview image.
* Pasted links now show their thumbnail again.
